10/15/25: The 2025 calendar has been posted! We are excited to announce the official opening of our brand new field of firs this year, along with a return to a full choose-and-cut season! We were blessed with a wonderful growing season this spring and summer, and now have an excellent selection of firs (Fraser, Balsam, and Canaan fir) up to about 10 feet tall.
At Ben's, it's all about the trees. Starting with the finest quality seedlings, Ben has been growing and nurturing 100% hand-pruned firs and pines since 1982. We have thousands of trees in 8 varieties of firs and pines, from 6 to 12 feet tall. We use organic farming practices, and all trees are pesticide-free.
Our farm is located on 55 serene, rolling acres in McHenry County, an enjoyable trip for folks from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
